Vintage Garcia NIB Johnson Guide 155 (graphite model) and Daiwa GC120 (Japan) mint condition cosmetically but each has a functional issue.

Overview: Both of these reels are NIB and include the operational guides. However, each has a functional problem:

1. The line release on the Johnson Guide doesn\'t work. In other words, when you press on the push button, nothing happens. The center shaft appears to be frozen. Penetrating oil wouldn\'t unfreeze it so I suspect the reel needs to be disassembled to fix the issue.

2. The drag on the Daiwa GC120 is stuck. When you press the line release button, you can pull line out. When you turn the crank backwards, you can retrieve line but if you try to pull out line by hand, it\'s as tight as can be. Also, the drag wheel on the top of the frame is stiff. Moving it one way or the other does not change the drag setting.

I\'m not inclined to disassemble these reels to fix the above issues. If you have a clue about how to fix the above issues, these could be a great buy as they\'re in otherwise mint condition. The boxes are excellent, likewise the instructions. I acquired both of these on some time ago. Regretfully, the sellers neglected to mention the operational issues.
