This is a beautiful quilt in need of some TLC by the next owner. It has no dramatic damages, but in order to make it beautiful again it will have to be laundered with modern-day stain-removing products, to get rid or make fainter the stain shown on pic # 3, which is the only really bad one it has.
All the flowers and stems and leaves are appliques sewn by hand to the white fabric. The hand quilting, in some areas, was was done in a single feather pattern, at least in some areas: please observe pic # 10 for a partial view of the quilting.
It measures approximately 90\" by 77\" across. The bed is a queen, 80\" by 60\".
