Vintage NIPPON Hair Catcher and Powder Bowl Vanity Set of 2
A beautiful vintage vanity set of a powder bowl and a hair catcher. Ivory in color with hand painted flowers and gold trimming.
Some damage: One of the legs appears to have been broken at some point and reattached. A couple small chips on the edge of the hair catcher where the lid sits.
Both have the proper NIPPON label.NIPPON translates to \"The Country of Japan.\"\"Old\" true NIPPON sun labels have the sun filled in and the rays are more filled in and extend out close to the writing above.\"New\" fake NIPPON sun label has the sun as a hollow shape and the rays do not extend as far and as many as the true \"Old\" labels.Please see pictures.
Dimensions Approx:1 Hair Catcher -4.5\" at its widest part and 3\" at its tallest.2 Powder Bowl - 4.5\" at its widest part and 2 3/4\" at its tallest.
