Being Offered is a vintage totem pole. These were typically made by Northwest Coast Indians. Characteristically these were the Tlinget, Haida, Salish, and others. These were purchased as souvenir items on trips to Wisconsin, Canada or the Northwest Coast. This is hand carved and painted cedar wood. I would estimate this is from the 1950\'s to the 1960\'s. The totem pole shows age and wear in places. There is surface wearing on the edges, counted around 4, and these are not distracting and difficult to see. I would call this normal wear. Approx. 14 1/2\" tall by 7 5/8\" wide at the wings.Please feel free to contact me with anyquestions about my items.
