Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver & Turquoise Claw Necklace, 24-1/2 Inch Chain:

I retired 12 years ago and don\'t wear much jewelry any more, so I am thinning my 30 year collection of Native American items.

This is a very unusual vintage handmade sterling silver single-claw necklace.

The claw is set in sterling silver with a ring of thin stones that measure just under 1/2 inch long. The stones are turquoise, serpentine, orange spiny, mother of pearl, onyx, and a blue that Ithink is azurite.

The last picture shows the stampwork on top. A swivel ring attaches the pendant to the handmade sterling silver chain.

The total length stretched out is 24-1/2 inches. The pendant length (not including the swivel) is 1-3/4 inches. The total weight is36.9 grams.
