Vintage 10 pound CP Co Navy Boat Anchor – Nautical Decor

This galvanized anchor is in great, used condition. Perfect for using with a nautical decor. Could also be used for a working anchor, if desired. Size is approximately 12” long, 8-1/2” wide, 3-1/2” high. Weight is 10 pounds.

This anchor design was issued U.S. Patent number 2679226, on May 25, 1954. What makes this style of anchor different is when pulled backwards by the boat the round stem is able to slide partially out the bottom of the anchor to help dislodge it. See patent diagram.
