This little 5\" Nippon bisque baby is in wonderful condition. She is made of white bisque, and has no chips, cracks, or repairs. Her facepaint is beautiful. I love the old babies with single stroke painted hair, and hers is excellent. She has a factory boo boo on top of her head. She has strung arms and legs which are firm. She is wearing a vintage christening gown, and the fabric is like a very old delicate hankerchief. It has very delicate lace inserted in the bottom of the front and back of the dress, and also trimming the top. There is a pale pink vintage ribbon bow on each sleeve, a ribbon rosette on the front, and the ribbon is woven through the top to tie at the back of the neck. There is a tiny spot on the lower front and back of the gown, that I haven\'t tried to clean. The dress appears to have never been laundered, so I chose to leave it that way. She wears a little folded piece of cotton as her diaper.
