Totem pole carved, painted,and signed by the famous late Tsimshianartist Ray Wesley.Mr. Wesley was born in 1935 anddid much ofhis work in the Burnaby, British Columbia area in the 1960s and 1970s.

Severaltotem poles he carved stood in a park there for many years. Several of thesewere restored and moved to the Simon Fraser University’s Museum of Ethnologyand Archaeology.

This is a very nice totem in excellent condition with an unusual whale and bear motif. It measures 12 3/4\" in height.
