Up for sale is a colorful 16 inch diameter rosemaling plate signed by L.S. Lysne.
My grandmother bought this many years ago near Madison, Wisconsin.
According to research I have done Per Lysne was the original artist who started making these folk art plates and taught his daughter in law Louise Lysne how to make the plates as well.
I am not 100% sure but since this particular plate is signed L.S. Lysne I believe this to be done by his daughter in law.
The plate is in very good condition, colors are bright, original hanger is attached to the back. Please e-mail with questions.
