I found this adorable vintage turquoise and sterling ring recently and immediately recognized that the turquoise was the darker color common during my youth in the 60\'s. This ring had to have been put away for a long time to have accumulated it\'s deep tarnish and to have escaped significant wear--the shank is bent out of round to a slight degree, but that is all the wear I can find. The stone looks excellent under a loup, with a few minuscule imperfections that can\'t be seen under normal conditions. If you decide to polish the ring, carefully try a silver cloth first to keep the tarnish in the crevices and accentuate the detail.
I don\'t sell a lot of jewelry, so I don\'t have a sizer of my own--the ring is about the size of a dime, possibly just a bit smaller, and apparently is about a size 4. It is stamped STERLING on the inside of the shank and to the right of that is stamped a symbol of some sort, probably a logo of the maker.
