This is a very cool antique optician\'s lens set. It comes in a 10 1/2\" x 4 5/8\" bi-fold leather case. Inside the case, you\'ll find the word in gold \"PHONE STATE 8085, A. J. GLICKSON, BONDING & INSURANCE CO., 155 N. CLARK ST. CHICAGO.\" Inside the bi-fold is another two-sided bi-fold containing 44 lenses. One side says, \"Spherical Concave.\" Another says, \"Spherical Convex.\" Then there is \"Cylindrical Concave\" and finally, you\'ll find \"Cylindrical Convex.\" Originally, there would have been 48 lenses. Four are missing. Most look like lenses. Some look different (see photos). Some are numbered. I don\'t know anymore about these lenses. One lens is missing..just the metal frame exists. Some of the interior bi-fold\'s finish is off. Still an awesome optical collectible.
