This is a beautiful piece that is not without its flaws. This is made the old fashioned way without benefit of nails or glue and is pulling apart in some places. That doesn\'t mean it is in danger of falling apart, just that it could stand to be made a little more secure by someone who knows how to do that. The last photo is of the bottom, underneath side of the box. This box contains two drawers with pulls and windows that are either made of brass or copper. There is a plate at the top that reads\"LibraryBureau Sole Maker.\" Nice old piece. Great conversation starter. Box weighs 7 pounds, 13 ounces.
