Up for sale from my own personal collection is this beautiful Art Deco style green glass perfume bottle. The color is best described as \"apple green\" and the surface is acid etched or frosted, sometimes called satin glass.It is embossed JAPAN on the bottom, and is most probably from the post-war period of 1947-1950s, making it Occupied Japan-made. As you can see in the photos, it glows brightly under UV light. It could be imported by IRICE, but there is no label.The bottle with stopper in place measures about 4.5\" tall. The stopper is complete with its long, clear glass dauber.The overall style is an art deco \"fleur de lis\" shape, with angular carved glass accents, which references fine hand-engraved crystal items from a time past.Condition is excellent. There is one tiny flake missing on the edge of the bottom of the stopper, and a tiny stress fracture, which is completely hidden when it is in the bottle. Sorry they are too small to photograph... it\'s always my intent to describe items precisely.
