Almost sure the tiles are marble

Brass hinged and trim

Top decorative brass knob seems to be a tad loose

Inside of box is in excellent condition, overall piece is in extremely good condition for its age

Inside the box has almost a sweet smell , Maybe Tea has been stored in this box
