For sale is a very nice heavy duty pair of vintage \"Old Ironsides\" bookends. This nautical set has maintained much of its original color and is very solid with only a few minor chips (as shown in photos provided). It is made of Syroco Wood (The process of wood flour waxes, and resins combined with in compression mold). The pair measures approximately 7 3/4\"H x 7\"W and weighs 4 lb. 14 oz. combined.
This unique nautical Clipper ship also known as the USS Constitution. She was constructed in 1797 and is the oldest commissioned warship still afloat. Today, she is moored in Boston Harbor, a floating museum of naval history.
