Vintage Old Pawn Navajo Sterling Silver & Turquoise Watchband, Signed RM. This Native American made watchband is in good condition. The watch is not in working order, please be aware of this before offerding. It is a Smith & Wesson water resistant watch, 30M, with a stainless steel back & Japanese movement. As with most older pieces of Navajo jewelry, the watch band is not marked sterling, but tested positive for it. It\'s stamped on both sides with adjoined initials: RM. Each watchband tip measures 1 1/2\" x 1 1/4\". It is made for a 1/2\" watch pin & a 5/8\" wide band. A band does not come with it. The tips are amazing pieces of classic Navajo silversmith work. There are raised flowers & leaves against an oxidized background that are stamped. There are 4 natural turquoise stones on raised sawtooth bezels, 2 on each tip. The stones each measure around 14mm x 10mm. They are beautiful old turquoise stones that are green in color. This is one gorgeous vintage Navajo made watchband. Add a working watch & you will be checking the time of day every few minutes to admire it! A statement watchband, handmade in the Southwest...and a perfect gift for that special someone.
