Vintage Oriental Carved Wood Brush Pot

Adecorative little two-tone wooden piece, carved in relief with a leaf pattern. Very tactile, good patina. The carved base fits snugly but is removable. 8.7cm tall, 4cm diameter at the base.

All in very good condition. It might be bamboo, but I am not sure.

Probably a brush pot, it would also serve as a spill pot or pencil pot.
