Up for sale is my beautiful 1964 Danelectro 4011 which is in excellent condition and has the popular shorthorn double cutaway design. This model is the Original, is extremely rare and was produced in a considerably small number. These \"batwing\" or \"duckfoot\" head stocks are by far the rarest style and hardest to find. This particular guitar has had upgraded tuning pegs installed (made in Germany) and has had the electronics completely gone through and upgraded, along with a complete setup allowing for excellent action and super quick fretting. This one sounds 100% better than before with the standard worn out caps etc., however you will get the original wiring harness and the case shown in the pics with the purchase of this guitar incase you want to return it to the original setup. (Not sure why you would, but it\'s your call. :) The guitar shows some small nicks and dings all typical of a guitar over 50 years old, and I covered the toggle hole with a small piece of white tape (because I no longer wanted the switch). It looks as if the paint may have been touched up in places before I bought it, but it\'s hard for me to say, use your judgement and look at the pics carefully. This is one great looking retro guitar!! You won\'t be disappointed!!
