An original watercolor painting depicting a scene from the Christmas poem \"The Night Before Christmas\" showing Santa in his sleigh but with only six reindeer! The illustration has been laid down onto gold foil, which in turn, is glued to a sheet of paper, as found. I don\'t know if this is old publisher artwork produced to create a Christmas card, or perhaps a book or magazine illustration, or if it was just created by an amateur for their own enjoyment. It is not signed but is very well done. It measures approximately 6.5\" x 8.75\", and the paper backing is about 7.5\" x 9.5\". Very nice vintage condition.
