For sale is this original Carlton Ware Guinness Penguin lamp base. Manufacutured in the 1960s, this was a limited edition of 2500 pieces. This base is in excellent condition, having no cracks or repairs. For the sake of accuracy, there is a small glaze chip to the base - this isn’t deep enough to have removed the colour, and is barely noticeable on display. Fully stamped to the base with the blue Carlton Ware backstamp. This lamp has been re-wired with fittings as close to the original as I could find, and also has an Australian plug fitted to the cable. Although functional, I would recommend having the lamp professionally tested prior to use.

This piece measures approx. 26cm tall, and 11cm wide and 8.5cm ‘deep\'
