Here is an old ( early 20th century) nickel plate over solid brass towel bar. It is really well made, is functional & has a great look ! The 3 adjustable/swivel bars reach out from the wall 17\". The handsome back plate is 6 1/2\" vertical & 2 3/8\" greatest width.
