Vintage Ornate Western Hand-tooled Leather Rifle Scabbard Gun Case
Combination saddle rifle scabbard / carrying case which is made of 100% tooled leather. Has an adjustable butt cover for added protection. Saddle straps and a leather handle across the top ridge complete this handmade rifle saddle scabbard carrying case.
Ornate, intricate floral designs cover both sides with a large eagle on one side of the rifle butt section. The word \"Mexico\" appears on the butt end.

Condition:
This is a vintage, pre-owned/used piece, showing typical wear, with discolorations, scuffs, scratches.
The end of one of the leather straps joining the two halves of the scabbard is torn off, but it still holds in place when strapped in. It should be easily replaced. The other joining strap is also very worn. The other straps are all in slightly worn, but good condition.
The leather is in generally very good condition. There is one crack in the leather (see last picture), but all pieces are intact and does not affect the usability in any way. The tip of the case is slightly bent, but is unbroken.
Some of the metal buckles and rivets show tarnish, but all are intact.
All of the original leather lacing is intact and in good shape.
