Vintage PAL-BELL ISRAEL Verdigris Olive Branch Center Bowl - M. ASCALON Judaica:

Description: One (1) Brass Center / Fruit Bowl designed by the famed sculptor Maurice Ascalon (1913-2003) and made by his company, Pal-Bell Co. LTD., in Tel-Aviv Israel. Bowl stands on a round pedestal and features two ornate brass handles and an applied figure of an olive branch also made of brass. Nice verdigris (chemically induced green patina) surface and trimmed around the outer edge with gold tone stripes. Marked on bottom with the Pal-Bell logo and “Made in Israel” in english and hebrew. Made between 1939 to 1956.

Condition: Excellent Vintage (See All Photos) light surface scratches - none are easily noticeable or bothersome. Handles and olive branch are all secure with original screws. No dents, bends or repairs.
