Fantastic Packard Pen & Pencil Combo from the 1920\'s. This massive writing instrument must have been quite an innovation in its day, combining a fountain pen with a mechanical pencil - the best of both worlds. It has a #6 \"Durium\" nib at one end and a brass pencil mechanism at the other. Gold plated fittings are accentuated by the striking silver, maroon and grey-green mother-of-pearl style plastic body. The overall look is outstanding.The pencil has lead and is working. The ink sac needs replacement if the pen is to be used. The nib point looks slightly bent (see photos).We pack and ship with extreme care.
