Maker & exact age unknown,
this is one of the many pins I will be listing from my Mother\'s Estate~
Not sure exactly when Mom acquired this piece!
Apparently there must\'ve once been a hook near the top of backside for optional pendant use.
That hook is no longer there,
So this is strictly a brooch/pin now.
~The pin mechanism is in great working order, of a good quality, with decently strong & sturdy parts.
~The pin\'s adorably ornate Forget-Me-Not Floral Frame is very thick & sturdy too, also of a good quality.
Striated and slightly antiqued, the frame itself is so very lovely!

I\'ve scrutinized at least twice now, under a magnifying glass, and
it really does look to me like this is very much Hand Painted, though may be a \'paint transfer\'.
I can\'t guarantee that, as this pretty little piece has no markings!
But looks like brush work to me~ Such a pity the Maker\'s artist couldn\'t sign it, if so!!
