If you look at the pics of the inside of the globe, you can see it\'s milk glass painted, quiet common in this era. The last pic shows the only damage I see, and it also shows the globe is solid milk glass. You can\'t see this chip since the globe sits in the rail of the fixture. There are some places on the fixture where the paint has started to wear off. Easy to paint if you want to or paint it a different color. If you don\'t like the color or patterns on the globe, take some paint remover and you will have a nice white milk glass globe. If the fixture doesn\'t sell, that\'s most likely what I will do and raise the price since those sell better. It hangs 22\" the way it\'s pictured. The widest part of the fixture is 14\" and the globe is 12\". Let me know if you have any questions.
