A great vintage ceramic fountain spitter in the form of an open mouthed pelican. It\'s colored in a teal green glaze and measures 7 1/4\" tall x 6 1/2\" long. It has an aluminum fitting in the throat for a water source. Under the tail is an impressed \"Pat Pend\" The piece appears to have never been used. Probably 1940\'s era.
