Vintage Perfume Bottle Fan Stopper U. S. Glass Co. Wreath Motif 1940’s:
Vintage clear glass fan stopper perfume bottle by the U. S. Glass Co. in the 1940’s. This is one of four perfume bottles using a basic wreath motif for the stopper. The last 2 photos show pictures from the book “Perfume Cologne & Scent Bottles” by Jacquelyne Y. Jones-North. The first book photo is to show that the bottom of the flower is not broken, but molded that way. The second book photo is to show how they used the same basic wreath motif to made 4 different bottles. Interesting to collectors. I also own the most simple wreath bottle, but figured I could give up one of them. I can’t find any obvious flaws to bottle or stopper. Approximately 7 3/4” high.
