The 14k yellow gold badge is circa 1902 to 1906, and features an artistically designed display of the fraternity\'s Greek Letters, with the center Phi being embellished with natural seed pearls. The Sigma Kappa letters are detailed with elegant etched accents, adding sophistication to this nice piece. The back fastens securely with a period T-bar pin and C-clasp, joined with a safety flap. The back of the badge is also engraved with the letter E, and the name I.D. Niles. This would be a great gift for a collector, board member, President or deserving member. A helpful er and fraternity member informed us that the engraved E represents the Epsilon chapter at Yale University and the name to be Irving D Niles who graduated in 1906 and worked as a Chemist. This pin has been professionally tested for its 14k gold purity composition.

This badge weighs 3.1 grams. The piece measures 7/16\" (11.1mm) long and 23/32\" (18.5mm) wide.We guarantee this piece to be 14k gold as tested. It has not been cleaned in order to maintain it\'s original vintage integrity. Please check out the enlarged pictures.
