Up for sale is a vintage \"Photoing on Car\", battery operated tin toy. The toy comes with the original box. I don\'t know a whole lot about the toy but I will explain what I do know. It was made in China, I believe in the late 1950\'s to early 1960\'s. From what I gathered this is an early version of the toy. The box has Chinese characters on it as well as English writing. It features a red Rolls Royce style car on the front with a gentleman driving on the RIGHT hand side of the vehicle and a woman on the left side, in the passenger seat. The English writing say this: \"MYSTERY ACTION, THE HORN SOUNDING AND THE HEADLIGHT FLASHING WHEN IT STARTS. THE GIRL TAKING PHOTO WHEN IT STOPS\". The box does show some wear from all the years of storage and one side is slightly more faded than the other. Possibly from sitting in a closet for years, I\'m not sure. It has a red string inside with a piece of cardboard below to hold the car in place. The toy car itself looks as thought it has had very little use. It is in beautiful condition cosmetically with only a few very minor blemishes and imperfections. It is blue Rolls Royce and is made of tin. It features 2 characters, a man and a woman. Both have blackish/dark hair. The man is driving and his arms rotate with the wheel, as it turns. The woman is in the passenger seat holding a camera with a tiny bulb in it. The bulb flashes once the car goes through it\'s sequence to simulate a camera flash. The headlights also turn on and flash on occasion during this sequence as the horn sounds off. There is absolutely no corrosion in the battery terminal. I believe it runs on D batteries. I tested the car with D batteries, it turned on right away. It went through the little sequence, drove around, honked the horn, flashed etc. The next time I tried it only the headlights would come on! The mechanism underneath the car, that powers it, seems to be in a bind of some kind. I am not sure if it is electrical or if my batteries don\'t have enough power. Therefore I am not sure if it is 100% mechanically/electronically sound. That being said the toy will be sold AS IS. Overall it is an awesome, classic tin toy. It would be great for a collector at any level. These are getting harder and harder to find with this original box. Please see all 12 pics. If you\'re interested please feel free to make an offer or ask any questions you may have before purchase. I accept paypal only. Item will be shipped within 2-3 days of confirmed payment. If payment is not received within 5 days of purchase the sale will be considered voided and item will be re-listed. Thank you for looking and Happy Collecting...
