Vintage Planter\'s Mr. Peanut Wind-up Alarm Clock

From the estate of a Planter\'s sales representative, his career with Planter\'s ended in the 1970s. This & our other Mr. Peanut items were collected from the company but were never given away or distributed.

This clock comes in its original box with a written guarantee from the Robertshaw Controls Co. of Lebanon Tennessee
We have tested the alarm and checked the time accuracy and both are working well.
Our Pacific Northwest climate is damp most of the time. Though this item was never in use, the metal finish covering it has some deterioration from exposure to moisture. The only evidence of this is on the red surface on the back of the clock. It has no rust but is not as shiny as it was when made. Please see photos.
