An unusual plaster or chalkware Virgin & Child figure approx. 9\" high x 5 1/2\" across mounted on a 7\" long wooden base Elaborate haloes or head pieces with sinuous raised designs as shown Figures painted in green gold and red. the back in streaked colors as shown Chips to noses and other places as shown these can be touched up I think; otherwise good condition unmarked possibly Mexican but that is only a guess.
