Here is an old Vermont Cutlery Co, Burlington VT 1871-1900, Pearl handle antique pocket knife in excellent condition!! This cutlery was German made Hardware brand, sold by Vermont Cutlery of Burlington, VT from 1871-1900. The knife has been used, way back then knives were made to use not to look at, but after all these years this rare beauty is still in fantastic shape and looks outstanding for its age. The blades are full at 95% or better and they do have good snap, blades are slightly surface pitted but nothing that is terminal, blades are actually rather clean and look fantastic, (see pics), blades are old carbon steel so they have and will hold a superior edge. The handles are genuine Mother of Pearl, handles are in great shape as well, no chips no cracks, just clean, colorful and beautiful all the way around, super rare old pocket knife, outstanding find. This is a very old and very rare Vermont Cutlery pocket knife, it has seen some use but was not abused, knife has been kept in a clean velvet knife collection for many years and it looks great, this beauty will undoubtedly make a fine addition to any collection!!
