Description:
This is a vintage Singer Sewing Machine that is in excellent working order. It will come in the original carrying case and come with many extra attachments. When the machine is set up it measures approx. 15” long by 7”wide and is 9” tall. When it is folded up it is only 11” long and fits easily into the case. When this machine is plugged in and turned on the light comes on and is completely silent. When the foot pedal is used the machine purrs and the needle does exactly what it should. This machine is in excellent condition and the serial number AF 596.195 dates it to 1940. I am unsure of the last time this machine was serviced but I recommend that before using it for any prolonged period of time having it oiled, having the belt replaced and a quick check over. The original cord will come with the machine but it is starting to show some wear next to the connection that gets plugged into the machine. The wall plug looks fine. The case does have some mildew in it and will need to be aired out once received. Attention International Customers: The shipping listed is the maximum cost.
