This is a neat old Dominion portable hair dryer that I received as a gift in 1960. I hardly ever used it and it still works great. I couldn\'t sit still to dry it!And I always thought it was best for old ladies to use these. Since the base sits on the table or counter and the hoseis long, itkeeps your hands free. There isa plastic strap that can be attached to the dryer also, so you can carry the dryer around while you\'re using it, if you want.

There are no cracks, chips, stains, or broken parts on either the hair dryer or the case. It is very clean and has always been stored in its carrying case.

The vinylcap and the heavy plastic hose, and also the vinyl covered case are all still soft and pliable. The unit heats immediately and there\'s a cold setting also. The motor is very quiet and so is the plastic on the hood, so you don\'t go deaf in there. There are elastic drawstring on the hood that can be pulled tight to keep all the heat inside for faster drying. The holes in the hood allow moist air to escape and speed up drying too.

The hang tag suggests lots of other ways to use this hair dryer--from drying nails to drying lingerie and even defrosting meats and other foods by just using the hose only.
