This sale is for a Vintage Pre 1921 Nippon Hand Painted Gold Trim Salt & PepperSet. The used set was acquired froma local estate. The set is clean andodor free with the original corks.

The set is in excellent condition withonly noticeable wear on the gold outline design in the top of the shakers andthin gold lines around above & below the painted designs around the shakerstop and around the base of the shakers.There are no chips, cracks or repairs.There is no wear on the painted design.Each has a cork in the bottom.One cork is missing a small piece but not enough to compromise theutility of the cork. Because the corksare so dry, I did not empty the shakers.

Theshakers are marked on the bottom:

·Nippon

·Theblue rising sun mark (which dates the set before 1921 but I do not know theexact date)

Each is 2 ½” tall. The diameter of thebase is 1 ¾”.
