Up for sale is a vintage Preisner weighted sterling silver Tazza compote / candy dish with a floral scroll pattern and beaded Gadroon edge. Please excuse the camera reflection glares, white spots or specks and shadows.The compote is in excellent condition with your normal polishing / use marks, but there are no chips, cracks, repair, or splits. It measures approx. 6\" tall by 6 1/4\" wide across the top rim and 3\" wide across the base. The very bottom is marked Preisner Sterling Weighted 209. We lost our grams scale in a house fire, but the it weighs a little over a 1/2 lb. on a regular postage scale. Folks, this is a beautiful Preisner sterling silver compote / candy dish and it would go wonderful in a collection or home.
