Vintage Quad Eight 333c Analog Eq Stereo Pair Stepped Mastering Equalizer RARE 2:

This is a pair of Quad Eight 333c EQs. They use the specially designed QE custom input transformer. The outputs are balanced via a pair of big Tamura GA81720 Output Transformers. They work perfectly, sound fantastic and come with a custom external power supply. Equalizationis always engaged, no bypass function.

The Quad Eight 333 eq was originally designed and used in the Coronado Ventura and Pacifica recording consoles. These modules became popular as a console EQ for custom music and film recording in the mid 70’s to 80’s.
The 333C is a special version made for two large-format recording consoles. One was owned by 20th Century Fox and the other was owned by Lionsgate Films.
The 333C incorporated custom-made multi-section pots that gave the EQ 30 0.8db steps and 30 selectable frequencies per band, plus swept high and low filters – a line trim and a multi-function signal LED. Less than 150 of these EQs exist.
