DESCRIPTION: Please note I will not ship this item internationally, USA shipping only. Superb R&Y Augousti picture frame in genuine shagreen leather. Measures approximately 7.5\" across and 9.5\" tall and it is sized appropriate for a 5\"x7\" photo. Probably dates ca. the 1990s, around 20 years old. Can be used either vertically or horizontally as shown. Color is true BLACK which is by far the hardest color to find in these frames and probably the most stylish; incredible for the display of a black and white photo. Well signed as shown and guaranteed authentic. There is a lot of imitation shagreen on the market (a lot) and it can be hard to tell the difference, but these R&Y Augousti frames are known to be 100% authentic shagreen. Incredible vintage condition. Comes from a local Dallas estate. The pics tell the rest of the story.
CONDITION:Flawless vintage condition with light evidence of age and wear to the back and the front basically looking like the day it was made. It has been very, very well cared-for. No scuffs, scratches, fading, bubble-up spots, seam separations, discolorations, water marks, or other issues. Retains its original glass which has no problems and stands fine on the tabletop both vertically and horizontally, not crooked and not wobbly.
