Youare looking at a beautiful and highly collectible 1971 Electro Voice 654A handheld Dynamic microphone set for Low Impedance making it ideal for singing and general broadcasting. This mic is a bit rare to come by as well and has that timeless look of the early hand held mics with the all metal painted finish. The painted mics were done so to cut down on unwanted glare when being used in a setting where T.V camera\'s were used.

Pic # 2 shows the mics data sheet which is included. it has all of the applications, frequency response and output level. Also included is the original box, E.V 300 mic clip, 20 foot cable with inline transformer, lavier necklace chain and mic sleeve. It\'s all in there and you just never find a complete set like this.

This was the new generation of handheld microphones with a design that had less to do with making an impression and more to with practicality, common sense and superb sound quality. While the cardioid mics were the norm at this point in time...E.V was making some outstanding regular dynamic mics and this 654A is certainly one of them.

As you can see in the pictures provided this mic is in really nice cosmetic conditionhaving very little cosmetic wear. The original paint looks fantastic with no stains or scratches. just lite scuffs. The mesh grill looks new with zero deformation or discoloration and the label looks superb. The microphone delivers a strong , clear signal and sure to satisfy if using for any live event. These 6 series mics are basically bullet proof.

The microphone comes with an original 300 mic clip and it works perfectly as well as looks very nice. Keeps the mic nice and snug but makes for easy release when needed. Mic also comes with a long 20 foot original cable that\'s soft pliable and has the High Z to Low Z transformer. If your audio equipment is any farther away you\'ll really appreciate the length. This one is ready to plug in and play! It has a standard, chrome plated 1/4 inch end connector as well for most modern audio equipment and all guitar amplifiers.

Also included is the original E.V mic pouch / sleeve that has slight wear but still completely functional. A nice bonus. Even the original 654A lavalier necklace chain is included as seen in pic # 3.

This is a truly nice find and will make an excellent addition to the vintage mic collection or something truly nice for any live event.
