I have no idea where these beautiful guys came from! I bought them at an estate sale 10 years ago. They are very large and pretty heavy. They are roughly 14\" tall--that is the tallest and a bit less for the other 2. They are just so eye-catching and the size helps really make them great conversation pieces.
I have not found anything like them when searching. I don\'t know their origin or any history. They are not perfect--a bit dusty and minor signs of wear--no serious paint loss or metal breaks or cracks. Perhaps blown air? Or a feather duster. They are truly rare and unique--sure to please.
They are not actual nutcrackers but rather just the style of the German Soldier Nutcrackers you see at Christmas.
