I recently obtained a groupof vintage (1936-1938) small felt pennants produced by the Red Ball SalesCompany in Chicago, Il and I will be listing these in the next few days. The pennants are approx. 2 x 4 inches and werepart of a give a-way premium promotion.They were packed in a box of stick gum and each stick was sold for apenny. In every box of 100 stick so gumthere were 25 specially marked “Lucky Sticks” on the inside of the gumwrapper. Winners of these sticks wereentitled to a free pennant that was provided by the store clerk. The pennants featured a variety of sportslogos including teams and/or players.The promotion started in 1936 and sometime shortly after 1938, just twoyears after bursting on the scene, Red Ball was out of business. Although these were produced in largequantity each year the limited production of two years makes these rare andhard to find items very collectible.Hopefully you will find an item or two that will interest you. Pleasereview the photos and ask any questions prior to offerding. Postage listed is formailing within continental US and this item can only be shipped to areas within rules. I do combine shipping for winners of multiple items in samesale. On larger items the postage quoted is for shipping to California. If theactual shipping to your site is significantly less than what is posted I willrefund part/all of the difference.
