TheseRobin Hood\'s Bay ships-in-a-bottle are from England and are hard to find. This gold-capped HAIG & HAIG Whiskey dimple bottle from Scotland is big 8\" long and though the label on the cap is missing it is from the Robin Hood\'s Bay craft guild. Inside is a model of the famous USS CONSTITUTION from 1797, the Navy\'s oldest commissioned warship.Nice rigging with nameplate on the blue clay ocean. Excellent condition. This bottle has the words HAIG with SCOTLAND and JOHN HAIG & CO., LTD plus the word DIMPLE on the bottle which I believe is from an older bottle. There is also a description on the bottom as shown. John Milsom started the thriving ship in a bottle bcrusiness at Robin Hood\'s Bay in the 1960s, where he oversaw the meticulous sailor\'s art of making ships in a bottle.
