Vintage sterling silver chain link necklace and Roman Intaglio pendant. Very cool and unique! Solid sterling silver. Marked sterling on the back along with a maker\'s mark. I am not familiar with this particular maker\'s mark. The necklace is thick chain link with a toggle clasp. The pendant is attached to chain. Where the pendant meets the chain and toggle, there is also a small chain extension with a hook that you can attach another pendant to if you wish. Or you can use the hook as a safety clasp with the pendant that is on it. Please see pictures for close up detail. The arrow shaped pendant has a circular setting with an etched design of a Roman soldier. I believe the material used in this design is black onyx or black tourmaline. The etching has a matte finish, while the black part that isn\'t etched is smooth and sleek. Dangling from the bottom of the pendant is a pointed cylinder with 2 rows of horizontal inlaid lines. Both pendant and chain are nice and thick- a very sturdy piece of jewelry. Perfectly suitable for a man or woman. Great for everyday wear. In good condition. This is a vintage item. There are minor signs of wear. Nothing major or excessive. Please see all pictures and judge condition for yourself. This has been thoroughly cleaned and polished. Ready to wear!
