Not sure how The Golden Nib celluloid Rubberset the softest Finest badger hair for these brush knots, but they sure do...!!! To tell you this is a soft brush would be an understatement. You really just have to buy one and see for yourself. In my opinion TGN Finest Grade Shaving brush knot is perfectly suited for creating a superb shaving experience. It has great backbone as you would anticipate, and is equally effective for whipping up a lather with your favorite soap. I don\'t want to draw a hard line here, just a soft one! I have owned and used Finest Grade brushes from the best makers, like Simpson, Rooney and Muhle, but I am now a faithful convert to the TGN Silver Tip.

Marrying this beautiful 24mm TGN Finest Grade knot to this fantastic wood/celluloid Rubberset handle, makes for one sweet vintage brush. The brush is 5-1/4\" in total length... I cut off about 3/8\" of brush handle bottom because it was chipped. This made the bottom a little more broad for added stability. I sanded, stained and lacquered the wooden (ash) handle. Don\'t be sucked in by labels and names. I would put these brushes in regards to quality and usage up against any of the big names. The narrow & aesthetically pleasing neck shape of the handle, makes for a very ergonomic and user friendly shaving tool. Putting it simply, it is easy to hold and a pleasure to use... This is Great knot in a beautifully restored wood/celluloid handle...
