This is a Vintage and extremely Rare 1920’s Francesco Viotoni Filius 1/2 size Violin. Made in Germany. Oil Varnish. Flamed Maple back, sides and neck. Soundboard is loose. The corner blocks are made of Willow, not Spruce, indicating the high grade nature of this violin. Label: Francesco Viotoni filius Faciebat Venetia Anno 19 sticker is inside.

Comes with bow and case. The bow may not be in usable condition. The violin is pretty good condition as you can see from the pictures and it doesn’t seem to have any breaks or cracks. Just a loose soundboard.

Will more than likely need a little tune-up. I found this at an estate sale. I know nothing about violins. I\'m using the above information from another sale of one just like this. I watched some youtube videos on repairing the loose soundboard. Doesn\'t look too hard if you have the soundboard tool. I\'m starting the offerding at $9.99 and I\'ll be happy with whatever I get for it. Sold-as is in working condition for restoration with loose soundboard. No returns. The violin case is pretty beat-up but still works to carry it.Shipping around $15.00
