This Bassman is used and in very good cosmetic & perfect working condition.
The legacy of this storied amplifier does not need much of an introduction. This particular amp was meticulously maintained for day in and day out usage while staying true to its vintage vibe and appeal.
To keep this amplifier a road and studio workhorse, some modifications have been done:
The amp was re-covered in the late 90\'s with true to vintage spec brown tolex.
The tweed was professionally lacquered to bring the amp back to its original Bassman look and vibe while adding a layer of durability.
Not long after the re-tolexing the amp received some other service in the way of a new transformer and a cap job.
In 1994, she was fitted with 4 Eminence Alnico 10\" replacement speakers.
Some of the earliest models of Fender Bassman \"Narrow Panel\'s\"had 2 inputs ... This amp is indeed among the highly sought after 2-input version.
This amp is oozing with monster tone & vintage vibe from the first second you turn it on.
