Extremely Rare and Vintage ELECTRO-HARMONIX \"EGO\" MICROPHONE BOOSTER from the 60\'s - when I first used it for a short while. This classic in-line device provides a warm analog boost to a guitar or an unbalanced microphone that is run through it. In great condition but missing the original screws that hold the back on. I have made no attempt to replace or fit other screws to this item. I did not want to reduce it\'s value by doing so. It takes a 9 Volt battery to operate it.
In the photos, the Gain knob appears crooked. The post is not bent, that is how the knob sits when the clamping screw is tightened. Easily corrected - if the new owner wishes to do so. Again, I made no attempt to modify this (on purpose).Please contact me prior to any problems or return of an Item acquiredfrom this listing.
