A Rare Austrian Hand Hammered Hallmarked 800 Silver Bottle Stopper: With the Original Cork and Spike. Circa: 1915. Excellent Vintage Condition.
Measurements: 1 1/2\" across x 1 1/2\" high. Weight: 28.3 grams.
Stamped on the outside, and the inside, a Tukon Bird with W for 800 Silver. A Makers Mark that is rubbed and difficult to read.
With the Original Cork which needs to be re-glued into place on the spike inside.
Very Nice Design originally made famous by Josef Hoffmann, one of the founders of the Wien Werkstatte. Part of the Vienna Secession.
