This Navajo Native American item is a super rare, one of a kind, custom made, Navajo Concho Belt and Navajo Sterling Silver buckle.
This item was purchased in the 1950\'s in Arizona, USA by a New Jersey family that collected rare items from all over the world.
We acquired this super rare item recently at an estate sale. This item is amazing in size, scale and custom made construction.
If you are a collector of Native American jewelry and items, this is a must have piece for your collection.
The belt buckle alone weighs on a jewelry scale 63.7 Grams. The back of the buckle is signed with \"TB\" and has an original sticker that reads, \"Authentic Indian Handmade\".
The buckle measures 3-1/2\" wide x 2-1/2\" tall.
The center turquoise stone in the buckle measures 1-1/4\" tall x 1/2\" wide.
Each coral stone measures 1/2\" tall x 3/16\" wide.
The leather belt measures 39\" long without the buckle snapped in place and is about 1-5/8\" thick.
The back of the leather belt reads \"3072M\", \"COWHIDE\", and \"34\" all embossed into the leather on the back.
The front of the belt features 14 large Turquoise stones each measuring roughly 1\" x 7/8\" varying in size and shape.
Some are slightly larger and some are slightly smaller.
However, they all are similar in size to give a uniform look.
These Turquoise stones on the belt and in the buckle all are of the same type of Turquoise.
These Turquoise stones from our research look to behigh grade Natural Bisbee Cabochons that have a beautiful webbed matrix mostly turquoise blue. Each of the 14 large stones on the belt are set in beautiful, 1/8\" thick silver rope design bezel housing that are secured to the leather by rivets through the leather.
All of the Turquoise stones on the belt are polished and have a uniform finish and color to them.
